IT is ironic that a friend visiting Malaysia inquired if the country is safe since he has not seen any policemen on the streets in Kuala Lumpur for the past two days. While the police claim that the crime rate in Malaysia is relatively low, I wonder if anyone in Kuala Lumpur doesn’t know of a theft victim!
High crime to them is like car bombing, terrorism, mass killing but constant theft, rape, robbery is not. Well according to these buggers the crime rate in Malaysia is very low. Yeah, so low i can almost hear theft cases every day. My friend was the latest victim as her house was burglared not too long ago and you can call that LOW CRIME RATE. Like I said before, how do they define high crime rate? Do they have to wait until the robbers are equiped with explosives and sub machine guns only we can declare it is not safe for you to roam the streets? These politicians do not care because they have all the bodyguards to protect them while we only have metal and grill windows to protect us.
