If i was the one who is stuck up there, I would be scared shitless.
Singapore officials today were investigating a fire at the world’s biggest observation wheel that left almost 175 tourists trapped for hours, some of them dangling high in the sky.
Tuesday night’s fire in the control room of the Singapore Flyer shut down the 42-storey high observation wheel, leaving customers stuck for six hours before power was restored.
I am afraid of height by the way. I am not sure if any one of you still remember an incident where the small version of Eye on Malacca had power blackout. Fortunately, power was restored after 30 minutes. But Flyer’s power was restored after 6 hours, I think most of the faint hearted people will be scared shitless. Sometimes it makes wonder why the power does not go off when the stupid politicians take a ride on the wheel. Oh wait, before VIPs board the wheel, they need to make sure the Eye is in the best working condition right? But it doesn’t matter if normal people boards it, right?
