Mahathir says it is a lesson for Anwar.
The political turmoil in Perak appears to be nothing short of comical and serves as a lesson to Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim, according to former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
Describing it as a ’sandiwara’, Mahathir, whose passion for horses is well-known, said: “Some have jumped out of the ‘kandang’ and some have jumped into the ‘kandang’.”
Sometimes I wonder whether September 16 was just a red herring because I don’t think a person like him will deliberately unveil his cards to his opponents to see unless there is a hidden agenda behind it. Who knows it is a psychology tactic to unease BN, which they did by staging a coup in Perak only to incur the wrath of the rakyat. However you see it, it is good for Pakatan Rakyat in some ways because BN has not been reforming like what they claim and it will only provide more ammo for the opposition in the future. BN may won a battle but they are going to lose war in the long run.
