If these monkeys want to charge Karpal under the Sedition act, they better charge Bruce Willis as well.
Bukit Gelugor member of parliament Karpal Singh was charged with sedition in Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court this morning in relation to his threat to sue the Perak ruler over the political crisis in the state.
He was charged under Section 4(1) of the Sedition Act and faces a maximum jail sentence of three years or a RM5,000 fine or both if found guilty. Subsequent offences are punishable with a maximum jail sentence of five years.
Didn’t the Hollywood star sued the negeri sembilan sultan too? How come he wasn’t charge since he is indirectly insulting the royalty by using the law? Is it because he is an international star and charging him will be bring shame to the country? How come Karpal is singled out for punishment even though what he stated is permissible under the Malaysia law thanks to Dr Mahathir (ironically he was the one who removed their immunity)? Is it because Karpal is from the opposition camp? Why not charge Dr Mahathir too for the ’seditious’ act he commited way back in 1993?
