Damage control came a little too late.

While it is nice to release 13 ISA detainees, you can hardly blame the public see this as a damage control over the Perak fiasco. Even if it was purely coincidental that these 13 guys are going to be released after the Perak thing, the public will always view it as a politcal gimmick to cool things down. The bottom line is the perak speaker should not be forcefully dragged out from the assembly in the first place which brings greater damage towards the credibility of BN. I am afraid this incident might turn Perak into another Kelantan in the long run. Good luck BN.
