From what I gathered, you are allowed to protest and piss on people’s portrait right in front of the police station,
provided you are a representative from a Keris party or some dodgy NGOs with interesting acronyms like KiMMA(K) but you cannot hold candle vigils to protest against injustice because it threatens national security.
PDRM’s SOP (standard operation procedure) is definitely one of its kind and boring police forces around the world should take cue from our impartial Malaysian police force.
