insurance advertising

Although insurance is becoming common nowadays but I felt their advertising still fell flat. I don’t see too many of their advertisements in the mainstream media. Maybe there are few of them but they are not making significant presence in advertisement. So what can they do? In my humble opinion, they should dabble with insurance advertising. It helps a lot in their marketing if they want more exposure for their products.
