When our Deputy Prime Minister said our education is better than UK and USA. I wonder what he was rambling about. If it was 50 years ago then I agree our education was better. It was a time where education was not politicized. Of course it will be better. I can’t say the same about our current education when things seem to be in shambles.

To be honest with you I am not a fan of vernacular schools. I do not like how it is trying to create a society for ethnocentric environment. How does it augur well for unity among Malaysians? You will get races who only wants to mingle with their own races and refuse to mix with others. The national schools are also terrible managed. It’s not surprising to see parents sending their kids to private schools.

It’s good to know that DAP finally has agreed something with the government. It shows that they do not oppose to anything that the government does as long it is beneficial to the people. That’s the job of the opposition. To pressure the government to do something. That’s why it is so childish for the government to ask what have the opposition has done to elevate the problem.

It’s not that we care more for animals than for humans. it is this: animals are defenseless; humans are not. animals cannot speak for themselves or take care of themselves. WE ARE THEIR VOICE. if you see a homeless person, you may think it is their own fault that they are homeless. if you see a stray dog, we usually think someone dumped the dog to fend for itself. and jiivanii, i agree about killing is killing. would a carnivore eat their pet? it’s the same: chicken, steak, cat, dog. it’s all meat!

Yes. 10 subjects for SPM is more than enough. if they are so concerned with people scoring too many A’s wanting to get scholarship, the solution is to raise the standard of SPM. But we have certain people who vehemently deny our SPM level is on the decline. Well facts don’t lie and from I see in the last 10 years, the quality of the questions asked in any given paper has dramatically declined. Sometimes I think the questions they set are a big joke. 10 subjects for SPM is enough, but please raise the exam standards. Don’t be in denial.
